On March 27, 2025, the Chinese corporation Huaneng visited Aktau, during which a meeting was held with representatives of JSC “SEC “Сaspiy” and the branch offices of the Akimat of the Mangystau region.

During the meeting, Zhu Xiuzhing, Huaneng’s Head of International Operations, spoke about the company’s key areas of activity, including the development and implementation of green technologies, the construction of renewable energy (RES) facilities and the restoration of ecosystems in desert regions. The Corporation actively supports environmental balance, which is an integral part of the Chinese government’s strategy to ensure environmental safety and combat climate change.

The parties discussed the possibilities of further cooperation, as well as the exchange of experience in the field of green technologies and sustainable development, which opens up prospects for mutually beneficial partnership and the implementation of innovative projects in Kazakhstan.
